Remember, and Re-Create

The reality we create for ourselves is based on what we believe is true of ourselves. If we believe we are in conflict, we will see conflict. If we believe we are "bad" or that some part of us is inherently "evil" then we will see that in our world. If we believe that we are out of balance, the world will appear to us to be out of balance. It all comes back to what we believe about ourselves, within ourselves.

Think about what life is like when you're deeply in love. You know that you are loved and you are keenly aware of the love inside of you. The world presents you with happy faces, couples kissing or holding hands, flowers blooming everywhere, and rainbows in the sky. Did the world change? No. The way you experience the world changed because the way you feel about yourself changed.

This is exactly why it's so important for us to remember who and what we really are. The world we experience depends on it. Have you ever had a peak experience, a personal, intimate experience of the Divine? Do you remember how wonderful everything was afterward, even if just for a few moments? It wasn't just that you felt good; you were in those moments experiencing a whole different world. I believe we can live in that wonderful world. I believe that we can create it, by recreating our conscious and unconscious beliefs.

Old beliefs can be very difficult to change, especially when so many of them are hidden in our unconscious. The beautiful thing about focusing on remembering who and what we are is that the light of truth dissolves false beliefs. More and more of what is true will be revealed and more and more of what is false will fall away. We can spend a lifetime trying to discover all our unconscious beliefs, but there is an easier way. We can instead turn our attention to whatever little bit of divine truth we're aware of within ourselves and focus on that. It will expand with our desire to know more.

If you don't know that you are God, you can begin with knowing that you are created by the divine source. Then, you can get to the point of knowing that you are actually part of that source. From there, you will grow in awareness until you begin to sense that you are in fact divine, and eventually to know that all that is also is divine. The world we create from that awareness will be the world that humanity has dreamed of (remembered) from the beginning of time.

Beyond Acceptance: Blessing What Is

Its been said that acceptance is the key to all our problems, but what does that really mean? How are we supposed to accept everything? Does that mean that we don’t ever fight against of for anything? Are we to be doormats, letting others take advantage of us, in order to be at peace? No, I don’t think that’s how it works.

Acceptance is the opposite of resistance, but it is not giving in to injustice or giving up on creating change. In fact, we can’t change anything until we accept the way it is as what is. With acceptance, we can say, “This is the way it is. I don’t like it or think its right, so I’m going to change it.” While we are in resistance, fighting against what is, our mind and energy is languishing in the problem. No problem can be resolved with the same energy that created it, so we need to get out of the problem. That doesn’t mean that we ignore it and hope that it goes away. It doesn’t mean that we pretend the problem doesn’t exist. That’s avoidance, not acceptance.

When we accept a condition as being what it is, we have the opportunity to turn our attention to possible solutions. Some times, its not a matter of solving a problem, but of learning from the unfavorable condition. Our greatest strides in personal growth often come through our greatest challenges. While we struggle against the challenge, unable to accept it, we prolong the condition and delay our blessing. There is always a blessing at the end of the challenge, but we can only get to the blessing, the gift, when we accept the challenge and start looking for how we can benefit from it.

Getting to the point of acceptance of what is is a great beginning, but we need to go further. We’re not talking about begrudging acceptance here. We need to get to joyful acceptance. In order to do that, we must believe that there is something good in all that is happening. Now lets take it one step further. True acceptance includes blessing all that is, as it is. Bless the gift, even when you can’t see a gift in the situation. It is there, but we often don’t perceive the blessing until after we have overcome the challenge. Give thanks for that blessing now. Bless the situation, as it is, knowing that it will in some way bless you.

When you bless what is, you cease to resist it; you cease to judge it. At that point, you can gracefully move through it fairly quickly. When you bless a situation or condition, you are immediately empowered to change it because you are no longer fighting against it. You don’t have to know what the blessing in it is to bless something. Just believing in your heart and mind that there is indeed a gift in it is enough to release you from judgment and resistance.

Try blessing your struggles. Bless your relationships. Bless your job and co-workers. Bless the traffic. Just try it and see what happens. Watch how you feel. Then you can decide how you want to react to the conditions in your life.

I bless you, and all relationships and situations in your life.
Jacqueline

Quotable Quotes
"Celebrate and enjoy all that you create, have created. To reject any part of it is to reject a part of yourself. Whatever it is that is now presenting itself as part of your creation, own it, claim it, bless it, be thankful for it. Seek not to condemn it ("God damn it!"), for to condemn it is to condemn yourself. If there is some aspect of creation you find you do not enjoy, bless it and simply change it.

Trust and Surrender: The How-to of Letting Go

Letting go is one of the best lessons I've learned this year, or maybe ... ever. Yet it's not as easy as it sounds. I'm sure you've heard people say, "just let it go!" How often do you hear them say how to do it?

For me, letting go was something I deeply wanted to do, but no matter how I tried, it seemed that I was still holding onto things. Not just negative things, but dreams, desires, and anything that identified me as who I thought I was. The tricky part was finding all the things that I clung to that I didn't even know I was holding onto. Most of the self-identity things fall into that category.

What I didn't realize was that without trust, there is no letting go. We have to trust in order to release our grasp on things. Who do we need to trust, or what? That's different for different people, but I think it all comes down to Love. I see God as the same thing as the energy of Love, so it includes trust in God. A lot of people, myself included, have learned through experience not to trust Love. Human love judges, rejects, is conditional, and often hurts. That's not the love I'm talking about, but it's the love we've experienced. It's the foundation of our mistrust of Love.

Once I discovered that I didn't trust Love, I looked back through my life to find out why. That was pretty easy. My life is full of love that betrays and love that demands that I be "good enough" or suffer rejection, even condemnation. The road took me back farther than I expected. It went all the way back to my entry into this life. In complete forgetfulness of who and what I am, I felt that Love itself betrayed me by putting me here in the first place. That original Love, the One, sent me here to this painful, frightening, stifling existence. That's where my mistrust began.

It took a lot of reconciliation for me to see that Love did not betray me, but was actually serving me. I had to re-establish a relationship with that Original Love. I had to find the part of me that is always in full awareness of it. Doing so brought a lot of healing and I was able to release a lot from the past, but something lingered. Trust was still lacking, even though I felt that I had completely surrendered to Love.

What I hadn't seen at that point was that Love is not separate from Life. I was trusting Love, but not life. Life was unreliable, unpredictable, and anything but safe and supportive. That was an error in perspective. Life is in fact the expression and unfolding of Love. Love is the energy and Life is the movement of it. By not trusting Life, I was still not trusting Love. Without that trust, I wasn't able to let go of everything.

We've often heard the analogy of life as a river. "Go with the flow," people tell us. A lot of people are in the river, but swimming upstream. Life is always a struggle for them. Others still have the boat tethered to the shore. I saw myself in one of those water park slides, up near the top. The water was rushing by, but I was holding tightly to the sides. I had too much fear of where the water would take me to let go and find out. That's the image of the way I lived most of my life.

With a new understanding of Life as the movement of Original Love, I am now able to trust it, and that gives me the ability to let go... of everything. There just isn't any reason anymore to cling to anything. It all exists as part of the energy that life is, and so do I. We are the same energy, part of the One great sea of Life. I don't need to cling to my foot in order to keep it with me. Neither do I need to cling to anything in Life. It's not just here with me; its part of me.

The Healing Heart

How can we contribute to the healing of others, humanity, and the Earth? It begins in our own heart, with the desire to help, to heal, and to uplift others. This desires comes from the place in us that knows that we are all one and that we can live in joy. There is something within each of us that wants to serve, to be a blessing to others and to the world. We can answer that ancient longing with the choices we make today.

Whatsoever we do to another, we do to ourselves. The reverse is also true. When we are critical or demeaning to ourselves, it affects everyone. With this in mind, we know that we must love ourselves if we are to love others. We must heal our own hearts so that we can help others heal theirs. When we remember that we are Love and Light, we can support others in remembering that they too are Love and Light.

If we are speaking, or even thinking, negative words about someone else, we not only bring that person down, but also ourselves. Guard your thoughts and your words with all diligence. Make a conscious determination to be supporting of the highest good in others and in yourself. Remind yourself often that every single person is a little piece of God, a perfect soul made of Love and Light, working through the illusions of limitation and separation. Have compassion for the struggles of others, but do not see them in weakness or lack. Focus your mind on the Love and Light that is the truth of who they are.

Our words and thoughts about others touch that person. We can either help them realize more of their beautiful truth, or we can support the illusions of pain, lack, loss, fear, weakness, helplessness, and disease. Seeing or speaking of another as any of these conditions only prolongs the condition because we are supporting the condition with our own energy. We cannot help anyone heal by focusing on what’s wrong, but only by focusing on what’s right.

Imagine others as whole, healthy, wise, and happy. Do the same for yourself. If we dwell on the problem, we support the problem and perpetuate it. We must be in the solution in order to see it manifest. The same is true of conditions in the world and of the health of our planet. Keeping our minds on war supports war. Celebrating where there is peace supports and increases peace. The more disease, weakness, pain, and helplessness that we see in another, the more crucial it is to hold them in the highest light. They need the support of our healing heart, the heart that sees the truth in them, not the illusion.

I remember you as the pure, perfect light being that you are.
Jacqueline

We Are All One

This is what I have come to tell you, once more, through the messengers of today. You will know them as My messengers because they will all be bringing the same message:
We Are All One.

This is the only message that matters. It is the only message there is. Everything else in Life is a reflection of this message. Everything else sends it.

Bondage By Judgment

When someone has hurt us, or someone we love, it’s easy to judge that person as bad, mean, or even evil. This may be a normal reaction, but it is not a healthy one. Our judgment of others binds us to them with invisible chains that time and distance cannot break. Those chains are built with anger, resentment, regret, blame, and fear. These are very powerful emotions that can eat away at us from the inside out.

As we make an effort to become more peaceful, joyful, and free, we know that we must let go of judgment; but how? Fighting against anything only ties it more tightly to us. Telling ourselves not to do a thing makes us think of it even more. Negative feelings cannot be changed by thinking about negative feelings. The key is conscious replacement of what we think and feel.

In order to free ourselves of the chains of judgment, and other negative states of heart and mind, we must turn our attention to that which heals. Unconditional love is the highest state we can reach for, but it may be difficult for most of us to attain right away. There are steps we can take to get there that will heal us along the way. Gratitude is a great place to start. The more we focus on what we are grateful for, the less we will think of what disturbs us. Joy is a healthy place to be and the best place to create from and gratitude can get us to joy.

Another benefit of gratitude is the increase in our awareness of things to be grateful for. By giving thanks, our attention is drawn to more and more of the things that bless our life. As our ability to appreciate increases, our ability to forgive and let go of what does not bless us also increases. Joy, love, and gratitude become our natural state. We begin to feel freer and lighter because we have stopped dwelling on and holding onto perceived injustices against us. The chains of judgment will fall away as we neglect them in favor of seeking out the good in all things.

Turn away from that which hurts you, limits you, and keeps you in bondage. Turn instead to light, to joy, to beauty, and to love. Keep your heart in gratitude and you will be free.

Truth Lived Boldly

Someone recently left a comment on one of my
blogs in which she mentioned God, and then apologized if the word offended me. I understood her concern because so many people seem to have a problem with it. The funny thing is, it’s not just agnostics and atheists that don’t like to say “God.” People of every religion, nationality, race, gender, and personality type are afraid that they will offend someone by using the word. I confess, that I have sometimes had the same concern. My business could be adversely affected if I declare my perception of God openly and it offends people. But it is now and always has been God that gives me the courage to do things I’m afraid of, things I don’t know how to do, or things that may be harshly judged by others.

When I replied to the comment, my feelings about it came out too fast to be censured by political-correctness and I realized that it’s time to be bold. I believe in God. My understanding and experience of God does not include judgment and wrath and certainly not rejection. I have read the Christian Bible cover to cover, attended churches of a few different denominations, and studied all the religions of the world. My God is not the one confined by religious dogma, with human personality weaknesses. God needs nothing from me and puts no conditions on loving or supporting me. God is not a person, sitting on some far-off thrown that I can never be good enough to reach.

My experience of God is an all-encompassing love with total acceptance for everything that is; it is pure joy, as a living energy. God is not a personality, but a conscious field of living light, an incomprehensible presence of pure love. God knows everything because everything is part of God; not just made by God, but actually a part of the whole that God is. Nothing exists that is not God. Science supports my personal experience of God with the explanation that the universe, having been formed of a singularity, can only contain elements of the original one thing. Put another way, God is the universe and everything in it, seen and unseen, known and unknown. Some may think that this makes God impersonal, but it does not.

To understand how the universe can actually be the body of a loving God, we have to advance our understanding of the word, “Love.” The human understanding of love generally includes fear, rejection, disappointment, frustration, possession, lack, and hurt. Our limited awareness and consciousness of separation prevents us from experiencing what love actually is. Love is a living energy who’s only objective is to support and nourish. Love does not judge, it just loves. Love does not condemn or reject, it just loves. We have heard that God is love, but you could also say that Love is God.

I do not, in fact could not impersonalize God because all that I’ve ever done or learned or been has been because of God. I pray to God. I give thanks to God. I seek guidance and inspiration from God, and when God prompts me, I follow. God prompted me today to be bold, honest, and open about what I believe and know to be the truth about God. I avoid using, “He, Him, Her,” or any other humanizing term because that would be talking about only one aspect of God. All That Is is neither masculine nor feminine, but all-inclusive. Nor do I condemn or judge those who do refer to God with such terms, because any relationship with God is a step on the journey to fully remembering God.

I believe the most important thing we can do in this life, in fact the whole purpose of life itself, is to remember who and what we really are; part of God. The more we remember this and live accordingly, the more we will see peace, joy, abundance, and wellness manifest in our world. The greatest service we can ever do in this life is to awaken our own consciousness and assist in the awakening of consciousness in others.

I realize that this writing may offend some people. It may be objectionable, confusing, or uncomfortable to some. My hope is that it will help people feel more comfortable with saying, “God” without reservation and possibly expand someone’s understanding of God. I don’t as a matter of habit seek out controversy. In fact, I usually try to avoid it. I much prefer reaching people gradually and gently so they will not close their minds and shut down their heart. It is not my way to shout from the rooftops what I believe and then try to make everyone else go along. I don’t like to force anything. But God pushes me beyond my comfort zone, (frequently!) If I really believe what I believe, then I should have no fear in stating it to anyone. The time for apprehension is past. It’s time to be bold. It’s time to show who I am and live my truth openly so that others will be encouraged and supported in doing the same. It’s hard work to hide who we are and it creates a stress that we really don’t need. Relationships are diminished by our fear of exposing who we really are. To truly love we have be truthful and open enough for people to know us and get close to us. We have to live our truth. This dissertation is my truth. This is what I believe and know, based on personal experience. This is who I am.

Within the writings of every religious tradition you will find the directive to know God, to have a personal one-on-one relationship with God. Every great master has tried to teach us about oneness and how to experience it personally, how to live on Earth as if we know that all is one and we each are part of the one whole. Some of them knew this so deeply that they sacrificed their lives to help us awaken to the truth that we are never separate from God because we are part of God. The message remains the same as it ever has been; All is One.

Living in Abundance

With all the talk about the Law of Attraction and manifesting our heart's desire, one important point seems to get glossed over. What are we contributing to others and the world?

The abundance we experience is not just a matter of affirming abundance, but of living it. How do we live abundance? By giving. When we give of ourselves, our time, and our talents, we make a living declaration of having more than enough. When we care for others and give to them without need of repayment or acknowledgment, Life gives to us in the same way.

Do you want to increase your experience of abundance? Then give of what you have and what you are. Give from your heart, with love. Do things for others that are not required of you, and don't brag about it. Ask yourself each day, "What can I do for others today? What am I giving today?" Do it, then let it go. Don't look for your reward. Perfect support, healing, inspiration, and abundance will come to you in the most perfect way for you. In the process, you will know true joy and
deep inner peace.  Those are the bonuses.

The following are positive-present questions that can help us find the place in us where what we desire is already true. By using a question, rather than an affirmation, we set the mind to work on finding that truth as it already exists within. In the process, we begin to identify more with the truth of our wellness than with the illusion of it's opposite. The more we identify with the truth, the more we see it evidenced in our experience.
